Event Details

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles has announced her 2026 “Good Grief” Tour, a North American headline run supporting her first new studio album in seven years, Good Grief, due for release on August 28, 2026. The album follows her acclaimed 2019 release Amidst the Chaos and explores themes of loss, healing, friendship and resilience. Bareilles recently introduced the project with the lead single “Home,” a deeply personal song inspired by conversations about grief and recovery.

The “Good Grief” Tour will kick off on September 9 in Boston, Massachusetts, before making stops in major cities including Washington, D.C., Toronto, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The tour is scheduled to conclude on October 19 in Seattle, Washington, marking Bareilles’ first extensive North American tour in several years. The announcement follows the premiere of the documentary Sara Bareilles: Good Grief at the 2026 Tribeca Festival, which chronicles the making of the new album and the personal experiences that shaped it.

Fans attending the shows can expect an evening that blends new songs from Good Grief with beloved favorites such as “Love Song,” “Brave,” “King of Anything,” “Gravity” and “She Used to Be Mine.” Known for her heartfelt storytelling, powerful vocals and engaging live performances, Bareilles continues to connect with audiences through music that is both deeply personal and universally relatable. With new music, a documentary and a nationwide tour arriving together, the “Good Grief” Tour promises to be one of the most anticipated singer-songwriter outings of 2026.
