ABOUT: David Byrne is best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of the influential band Talking Heads. Following the band’s breakup in 1991, Byrne embarked on a successful solo career marked by musical experimentation and multimedia projects. His work spans genres and formats, including film scores, theater productions, and art installations. Notable solo projects include his 2008 collaboration album Everything That Happens Will Happen Today with Brian Eno and his award-winning 2018 album American Utopia, which inspired a critically acclaimed Broadway show and concert film directed by Spike Lee.
