Legendary British new wave band Squeeze have announced their 2026 “Tried, Tested And Trixies” Tour, celebrating more than five decades of songwriting while supporting their new studio album Trixies. Led by longtime songwriting duo Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, the band continues a remarkable career that has produced classics such as “Tempted,” “Cool for Cats,” “Up the Junction” and “Black Coffee in Bed.” The new tour follows the release of Trixies, the group’s sixteenth studio album and their first new record in more than eight years.

The “Tried, Tested And Trixies” Tour begins with European performances in spring 2026 before expanding into a large North American run later in the year. The North American leg is scheduled to launch in Nashville on August 16, 2026, and continue through cities including Boston, New York City, Toronto, Cleveland, Denver, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Detroit, where the tour wraps on September 27. Special guests on select dates include fellow British icons Adam Ant and Haircut 100, adding to the nostalgic and celebratory atmosphere of the run.

Fans attending the shows can expect performances of songs from Trixies alongside a career-spanning setlist filled with Squeeze favorites and deeper cuts from across their catalog. The band has described the tour as both a celebration of their history and an opportunity to finally bring the long-awaited Trixies material to the stage, revisiting songs originally written during the earliest days of Difford and Tilbrook’s partnership in the 1970s. With a mix of classic songwriting, new material and enduring live energy, the “Tried, Tested And Trixies” Tour promises to be one of the standout legacy rock tours of 2026.
