The Cleveland Browns are a professional football team based in Cleveland, Ohio, competing in the AFC North division of the National Football League (NFL). Founded in 1946 by coach and namesake Paul Brown, the team began in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC), where it dominated before joining the NFL in 1950. The Browns won multiple championships in the pre-Super Bowl era but have yet to win a Super Bowl, with their last NFL title coming in 1964.
The franchise has a storied history filled with passionate fans, iconic players like Jim Brown, Otto Graham, and Bernie Kosar, and dramatic highs and lows.
