Indie-folk band Big Thief have announced their “Somersault Slide 360″ Tour, a major concert run supporting their sixth studio album Double Infinity. The album, released in September 2025, marks the band’s first project as a trio — featuring Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek and James Krivchenia—following the departure of longtime bassist Max Oleartchik. The tour arrives after the album’s release and continues the band’s reputation for emotionally powerful live performances that blend intimate songwriting with expansive, improvisational arrangements.
“The Somersault Slide 360” Tour began with North American shows in fall 2025, opening on September 17 in Sacramento, California, and running through cities such as Los Angeles, Mexico City, Boston, New York, Atlanta and Austin, before concluding in Houston, Texas on November 7. These dates marked Big Thief’s return to extensive touring in the region and their first major North American run since 2023.
The tour continues into 2026 with a large UK and European leg, featuring some of the band’s biggest headline shows to date. Highlights include multiple nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, concerts in Oslo, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Milan, and a major show at 3Arena in Dublin. Across the tour, fans can expect performances of songs from Double Infinity — including “Incomprehensible,” “Grandmother” and “All Night All Day” — alongside beloved tracks from the band’s acclaimed catalog.
