Death Cab for Cutie Upcoming Events & Tickets

Death Cab for Cutie are extending their I Built You A Tower era into 2027 with a new North American tour supporting their eleventh studio album, I Built You A Tower. The newly announced run follows the band’s 2026 touring across Europe, Japan and Australia and arrives alongside an animated music video for “Stone Over Water,” directed and created by musician Sean Solomon. Released through ANTI- Records, I Built You A Tower marks Death Cab for Cutie’s return to an independent label after two decades with Atlantic Records and was produced and engineered by John Congleton.

The 2027 schedule begins with a January 19 performance at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu before the main spring leg launches March 11 in Nashville. Death Cab for Cutie will then visit Knoxville, Atlanta, St. Augustine, Miami Beach, Orlando, Houston, Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, Huntsville, Pittsburgh and Detroit before heading into Canada for concerts in Niagara Falls, Ottawa and Montreal. The tour returns to the U.S. for two nights at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, followed by Uncasville, Portland, New York’s Radio City Music Hall and a final announced show April 16 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Special guest Swapmeet will support Death Cab for Cutie throughout the newly announced mainland North American dates. Fans can expect the shows to spotlight material from I Built You A Tower, including “Stone Over Water” and “Riptides,” while drawing from the extensive catalog that has made Death Cab for Cutie one of the defining indie-rock bands of the past two decades. Following major anniversary tours celebrating Transatlanticism and Plans, the 2027 North American Tour shifts the focus firmly toward the band’s newest chapter while continuing to incorporate favorites from throughout their career.
