Grammy-nominated guitarist, songwriter and producer Cory Wong is returning to the road in early 2027 for a North American Winter Tour, bringing his high-energy combination of funk, jazz, pop and precision musicianship back to stages across the United States and Canada. The run follows Wong’s 2026 album Lost in the Wonder and his Fretboard Odyssey tour, continuing a prolific period for the Vulfpeck guitarist and bandleader known for transforming intricate guitar work into an energetic, full-band live experience.
The 10-show winter run begins February 23, 2027 at The Eastern in Atlanta before visiting Asheville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Boston. Following a March 1 performance in Portland, Maine, the tour heads to Toronto on March 3 and Royal Oak, Michigan on March 4 before closing with shows at The Salt Shed in Chicago on March 5 and The Pageant in St. Louis on March 6. Wong will later return to his hometown of Minneapolis for two additional shows at First Avenue on May 7 and 8.
Singer-songwriter dodie will be featured throughout the 10-date winter tour, with London-based band PREP joining as special guest on the run. PREP and Wong have previously collaborated on the song “Line by Line,” bringing an established musical connection to the three-artist bill. Wong’s two May hometown performances in Minneapolis will feature a different special guest, bassist and singer Blu DeTiger. With dodie and PREP joining the winter dates and Blu DeTiger appearing for the Minneapolis shows, Cory Wong’s 2027 schedule brings together funk, indie pop, soul and groove-driven musicianship for a new series of collaborative live performances.
