Chicago Blackhawks Upcoming Events & Tickets

The Chicago Blackhawks are a professional ice hockey team based in Chicago, Illinois. They compete in the Central Division of the Western Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). Founded in 1926, the Blackhawks are one of the NHL’s “Original Six” franchises and have a deep, historic presence in the league. Their home arena is the United Center, which they share with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls. The team’s iconic red, black, and white uniforms and its Native American logo have become one of the most recognizable brands in all of sports.

The Blackhawks have won six Stanley Cup championships, with three of those coming in a dominant stretch between 2010 and 2015. Led by stars like Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, and Corey Crawford, that era saw Chicago become a modern dynasty under head coach Joel Quenneville. The team played a fast, puck-possession style that defined a generation of hockey and brought the franchise back to prominence after a long playoff drought in the early 2000s.

In recent years, the Blackhawks have entered a rebuilding phase, focusing on young talent and long-term development. The arrival of Connor Bedard, selected first overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, has reignited fan excitement and positioned the team for a new era of growth. With a mix of veteran experience and emerging prospects, the Blackhawks are reshaping their identity while aiming to return to playoff contention in the coming seasons.
