Two-time GRAMMY-nominated Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayra Starr is taking her music around the globe in 2027 with the Starrgirl World Tour, a 20-city international headline run celebrating her third studio album, Starrgirl. Released August 14, 2026, through Mavin Records and Republic Records, the album marks another major milestone for the singer-songwriter, blending Afrobeats, R&B and pop influences with her distinctive vocals and confident songwriting. The project includes the ZAYN collaboration “Heaven Baby” and follows the success of her previous albums, 19 & Dangerous and The Year I Turned 21. The tour announcement arrives shortly after Starr made history as the first Afrobeats artist to headline an NFL International Game halftime show in London, further cementing her position as one of Africa’s most exciting global music stars.
The Starrgirl World Tour kicks off January 20, 2027, at Live Music Hall in Cologne, Germany, before traveling across Europe with performances in Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich and Brussels. The European leg concludes February 2 at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire before the tour heads to North America in March. Beginning March 18 at House of Blues in Houston, the North American run will visit Dallas, Atlanta, Silver Spring, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver before concluding April 14 at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The international itinerary gives audiences across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada an opportunity to experience Starr’s latest musical chapter live, with additional African performances expected to be announced.
The upcoming shows will showcase music from Starrgirl alongside the songs that have fueled Ayra Starr’s international breakthrough, including “Rush,” “Commas,” “Bloody Samaritan” and “Last Heartbreak Song.” Known for her captivating stage presence, energetic choreography and effortless fusion of African rhythms with contemporary pop and R&B, Starr is preparing a live experience that celebrates her artistic evolution and growing global influence. No tour-wide special guest or opening act has been announced with the initial itinerary, although additional performers may be revealed closer to individual dates. With a new album, an expanding international audience and a major headline tour spanning two continents, the Starrgirl World Tour promises another defining chapter in Ayra Starr’s remarkable rise.
