Event Details
The timeless music and enduring friendship of Carole King and James Taylor will be celebrated across North America in 2027 with You’ve Still Got A Friend Tour, a heartwarming musical tribute honoring two of the most influential singer-songwriters of all time. Following its record-breaking world premiere at Theatre By The Sea in Wakefield, Rhode Island, in August 2026, the acclaimed production is embarking on its first national tour, bringing beloved songs and the stories behind them to audiences across the continent. Conceived and directed by three-time Tony Award-winning producer Seth Greenleaf and presented by GFour Productions, the show explores the extraordinary creative connection between King and Taylor, whose music helped define a generation through its honesty, warmth and unforgettable melodies.
The You’ve Still Got A Friend Tour officially launches January 24, 2027, at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia, Ohio, before traveling through major cities including Utica, Lancaster, Waterbury, New Brunswick, Englewood, Bangor and Lynn. February performances include a five-day engagement at the Avalon Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, followed by stops in Akron, Detroit, Waukegan, Wilmington and other cities throughout the Midwest and East Coast. The tour continues into March with performances in Fort Pierce, Miramar, The Villages, Valdosta, Oxford and Dayton, with a Dallas appearance scheduled for March 24. Additional cities are expected to be announced as the production expands its North American itinerary.
Audiences can look forward to an uplifting evening of live music, heartfelt storytelling and nostalgic favorites, including “Fire and Rain,” “Beautiful,” “Sweet Baby James,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” “So Far Away” and “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).” Inspired by King and Taylor’s legendary Live at the Troubadour performances, the production combines powerful vocal performances with the personal histories and musical collaborations that shaped their remarkable friendship. Rather than featuring the original artists themselves, the show celebrates their legacy through a talented ensemble of performers and an immersive theatrical presentation. With its acclaimed creative team, beloved songbook and celebration of friendship, You’ve Still Got A Friend Tour promises a memorable experience for longtime fans and new generations discovering the music of Carole King and James Taylor.
