R&B star UMI is taking her deeply personal, soulful sound on the road this fall with the “People Stories” World Tour.
The North American leg begins October 28 in Salt Lake City, UT, at The Complex, and continues through major U.S. cities including Denver, Dallas, Austin, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland — culminating in a triumphant California run with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego by December.
Midway through, UMI will cross the border for three intimate Canadian shows in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver (November 27) — a special connection between her heartfelt new music and audiences across North America. These dates follow on the heels of her acclaimed album people stories, and offer fans a chance to experience her rich, storytelling-driven music live.

About UMI
UMI is a Japanese-American singer, songwriter, and producer known for her smooth blend of R&B, neo-soul, and bedroom pop. Born Tierra Umi Wilson in Seattle, Washington, she began writing music in her teens and gained early attention on YouTube and SoundCloud with her soft vocals and introspective lyrics. Her sound is rooted in emotional honesty and cultural exploration, often drawing from her Black and Japanese heritage to shape a unique musical identity.
She officially broke through with her 2019 EP Love Language, which featured bilingual lyrics and gentle, meditative production that connected deeply with Gen Z listeners.
