ABOUT: Turnstile is an American hardcore punk band from Baltimore, Maryland, known for their explosive live shows, genre-blending sound, and boundary-pushing approach to heavy music. Formed in 2010, the group’s core lineup features Brendan Yates (vocals), Franz Lyons (bass, vocals), Pat McCrory (guitar), and Daniel Fang (drums). They emerged from the hardcore scene with their debut EP Pressure to Succeed (2011) and quickly built a reputation for high-energy performances that blurred the lines between punk show and communal celebration.
Their early albums, Nonstop Feeling (2015) and Time & Space (2018), showcased a mix of hardcore aggression and melodic experimentation, drawing influences from punk, alternative rock, and even funk. But it was their third album, Glow On (2021), that catapulted them into the mainstream, earning critical acclaim for its adventurous songwriting and unexpected textures, including collaborations with producer Mike Elizondo and artist Blood Orange.
In 2025, Turnstile released their fourth album, Never Enough, further expanding their sonic palette and reinforcing their status as one of the most forward-thinking bands in heavy music. Known for fostering an inclusive and uplifting atmosphere, their concerts are celebrated for their physicality, joy, and deep connection with fans — making Turnstile not just a band to hear, but an experience to be part of.
