The Marcus King Band has announced “The Darling Blue” Tour, a major North American concert run in support of their 2025 album Darling Blue. Led by GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist Marcus King, the tour celebrates the band’s return with their first full album together in several years and showcases King’s signature blend of Southern rock, blues, soul and Americana. The record reflects King’s personal experiences and musical roots, drawing inspiration from the Blue Ridge Mountains and key moments in his life.
The new leg of the tour — often referred to as “The Darling Blue Pt. 2” Tour — will bring the band to 39 cities across the United States and Canada throughout the summer and early fall of 2026. The run begins May 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, and continues through major markets including Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Boston and Seattle, before wrapping up September 15 in Burlington, Vermont. Special guests Penelope Road and Willow Avalon will appear on select dates, adding additional depth to the live lineup.
Ahead of the North American tour, King will headline a week-long residency at Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City and perform internationally in Australia, along with appearances at major festivals such as Stagecoach, Bourbon & Beyond, and Gulf Coast Jam. With its combination of heartfelt songwriting and electrifying guitar performances, “The Darling Blue” Tour promises to bring the full power of the Marcus King Band’s live show to fans across the continent.
