TOUR: South Korean superstars SEVENTEEN are set to light up the United States this fall with the “[NEW_]” World Tour, a celebration of their explosive fifth album, Happy Burstday. The U.S. run kicks off on October 11 in Tacoma and takes fans on a nine-city journey across the country. Their American tour delivers nonstop energy with back-to-back shows in Los Angeles (October 16–17), Austin (October 21–22), and Sunrise (October 26–27), before wrapping up in Washington, D.C. with two final nights on October 29 and 30.
Featuring nine of the group’s thirteen members, this leg of the tour highlights S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. Four members — Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi — will be absent due to military service commitments. ABOUT: SEVENTEEN is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015, known for their polished performances, self-produced music, and dynamic team concept. The group originally debuted with thirteen members — S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino — and is divided into three specialized units: the Hip-Hop Unit, Vocal Unit, and Performance Unit, each focusing on their respective strengths. Their name reflects the idea of “13 members + 3 units + 1 team,” symbolizing unity despite their size.
From their debut EP 17 Carat (2015) to hit albums like An Ode (2019), Face the Sun (2022), and FML (2023), SEVENTEEN has become one of the most successful K-pop acts globally, recognized for writing and producing much of their own music. Their sound blends pop, hip-hop, R&B, and EDM influences, paired with intricate choreography and high-energy live performances.
Known affectionately as “self-producing idols,” the group has cultivated a devoted fandom called CARATs and has built a reputation for interactive fan engagement and innovative concert experiences. They’ve broken sales records in South Korea, sold out arenas worldwide, and earned accolades from the Mnet Asian Music Awards to Billboard chart placements. With their artistry, teamwork, and versatility, SEVENTEEN has solidified their place as one of the leading acts in modern K-pop.
