ABOUT: Set It Off was formed in Tampa, Florida, in 2008. The band was founded by lead vocalist Cody Carson, who initially gained attention through his YouTube channel, where he posted cover songs. The original lineup expanded to include guitarist Dan Clermont, bassist Austin Kerr, drummer Maxx Danziger, and guitarist Zach DeWall. Over time, the lineup has changed, with Cody Carson and Maxx Danziger remaining as core members.
Set It Off is known for blending elements of pop punk, alternative rock, and orchestral pop, creating a unique and dynamic sound. Their debut album, Cinematics (2012), showcased their theatrical style and emotionally charged lyrics. Subsequent albums like Duality (2014), Upside Down (2016), and Midnight (2019) demonstrated their evolving sound and experimentation with pop and R&B influences.
The band has built a devoted fanbase through energetic live performances and a strong online presence. Set It Off continues to release new music and tour internationally, solidifying their place in the modern alternative music scene.
