Event Details
Australian psychedelic rock favorites Ocean Alley are returning to the United States and Canada in 2027 with an extensive 20-date North American Tour, bringing their signature blend of psychedelic rock, reggae, soul and laid-back grooves to audiences across the continent. The upcoming run follows the success of their fifth studio album, Love Balloon, released in September 2025, which debuted at No. 1 on Australia’s ARIA Australian Albums Chart. Featuring songs including “Tangerine” and the title track, the record continues the band’s evolution while retaining the sun-soaked melodies and atmospheric sound that have made them international favorites. With more than 1.5 billion career streams and beloved songs such as “Confidence,” “Knees” and “Yellow Mellow,” Ocean Alley are preparing another exciting chapter in their expanding global touring career.
The 2027 North American Tour kicks off May 5 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California, before heading to Seattle and crossing into Canada for performances in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. The tour continues through Chicago and Detroit before returning to Canada for shows in Toronto and Montreal. The second half of the itinerary brings Ocean Alley to Boston, Brooklyn, Silver Spring, Norfolk, Charlotte and North Myrtle Beach, followed by Florida performances in Miami and St. Petersburg. The final stretch includes Austin on June 2 and Los Angeles on June 4 before concluding June 5 at SOMA in San Diego. Spanning a month of performances across the United States and Canada, the tour follows Ocean Alley’s biggest Australian and New Zealand headline run to date, which attracted more than 80,000 fans across 11 shows.
Two special guests will join Ocean Alley on different portions of the tour, with New Zealand indie-rock band Mild Orange supporting the opening dates from May 5 through May 18, including all five Canadian performances. Australian funk and soul collective Winston Surfshirt will take over support duties beginning May 20 in Boston and continue through the June 5 finale in San Diego. Together, the artists bring complementary sounds to a tour celebrating psychedelic rock, indie grooves and soulful live musicianship. Fans can expect Ocean Alley to showcase material from Love Balloon alongside established favorites from their extensive catalog, delivered with the rich instrumentation, hypnotic rhythms and energetic performances that have helped establish the six-piece as one of Australia’s most successful contemporary rock exports. With a new chapter of international touring and two exciting supporting acts, Ocean Alley’s 2027 North American Tour promises an unforgettable live music experience.
