ABOUT: NEEDTOBREATHE released their debut album, Daylight, in 2006, quickly gaining attention for their passionate lyrics, melodic sound, and energetic performances. Their follow-up albums, including The Heat (2007), The Outsiders (2009), and The Reckoning (2011), cemented their reputation as a powerhouse in both Christian and mainstream rock circles.
The band reached a broader audience with the success of Rivers in the Wasteland (2014), which featured the hit single “Brother” (featuring Gavin DeGraw). This album earned them a Grammy nomination and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Subsequent albums, such as HARD LOVE (2016), Out of Body (2020), and Into the Mystery (2021), showcased their evolving sound and lyrical depth. In 2020, Bo Rinehart announced his departure from the band. Despite this, NEEDTOBREATHE has continued to tour and release music, with Bear Rinehart at the creative helm.
