ABOUT: Kentrell DeSean Gaulden aka NBA YoungBoy began his music career in 2015, releasing his first mixtape, Life Before Fame, and quickly garnered a regional following. His breakthrough came with the 2017 singles “Untouchable” and “No Smoke,” both of which marked his first entries on the Billboard Hot 100. In January 2018, his single “Outside Today” became his first to peak within the chart’s top 40 and received quadruple platinum certification by the RIAA.

Gaulden’s discography includes multiple studio albums and mixtapes, with several debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2023, he signed a significant deal with Motown Records and released I Rest My Case, which debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200. He followed this with Don’t Try This at Home, which debuted at number 5 and produced his 100th Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Big Truck.” His 20th solo mixtape, Richest Opp, debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200.

In 2025, Gaulden announced his eighth studio album, MASA (Make America Slime Again), scheduled for release on July 25, 2025. The album is expected to feature guest appearances from rappers Playboi Carti and Young Thug. Its production includes contributions from his go-to engineer and producer Cheese, LondnBlue, Mally Mall, and others.
