Multi-platinum rock band Matchbox Twenty are celebrating three decades of music in 2027 with a massive 52-date North American Tour, marking the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You. Released in 1996, the Diamond-certified album introduced the world to the band’s distinctive blend of alternative rock, melodic songwriting and emotionally charged lyrics, producing timeless hits including “Push,” “3AM,” “Real World,” “Back 2 Good” and “Long Day.” Led by frontman Rob Thomas alongside Brian Yale, Paul Doucette and Kyle Cook, Matchbox Twenty have sold more than 40 million records worldwide and built an enduring catalog of fan favorites such as “Bent,” “If You’re Gone,” “Unwell” and “How Far We’ve Come.” The anniversary celebration follows a special one-night-only performance at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, where the band revisited songs from their landmark debut.

The 2027 North American Tour kicks off May 15 at Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama, before traveling through Charlotte, Nashville, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Spokane and Vancouver. The extensive summer itinerary continues with performances at iconic venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Moody Center in Austin and RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto. Additional stops include Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Tampa, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee and Cincinnati, among numerous other cities throughout the United States and Canada. The tour concludes August 12 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan, bringing the three-month celebration to a close after performances at some of North America’s most celebrated arenas and outdoor venues.

A rotating lineup of special guests will join Matchbox Twenty throughout the anniversary tour, featuring The All-American Rejects, The Wallflowers, David Gray, O.A.R., Matt Nathanson and The Lucky on select dates. The All-American Rejects will open the first four shows in May, while The Wallflowers will support the late-May and June performances, with The Lucky appearing at select West Coast dates. David Gray joins the July run, followed by O.A.R. for early August performances and Matt Nathanson for the final two shows. Together, the lineup brings an impressive collection of alternative rock and pop-rock favorites to the stage, complementing Matchbox Twenty’s career-spanning celebration. With three decades of hits, a landmark album anniversary and an exciting roster of supporting artists, the 2027 North American Tour promises an unforgettable summer of live music for longtime fans and new generations alike.
