SEASON PREVIEW: The 2025 season marks the Los Angeles Rams’ 89th in the NFL and their ninth since returning to Los Angeles. It is expected to be the 19th under head coach Sean McVay, who continues to guide a youthful, rapidly developing roster.

After a strong 2024 campaign led by veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford and emerging stars like Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams, the Rams enter the new season looking to build momentum and push deeper into the playoffs.

On defense, Los Angeles has retooled and added depth across key positions, aiming to complement its offensive firepower with a more balanced roster. With rising talent and veteran leadership, the Rams are positioned to remain competitive in the always-tough NFC West, alongside the 49ers, Seahawks, and Cardinals.

The team will once again play its home games at SoFi Stadium, with expectations high for another step forward under McVay’s leadership.

ABOUT LOS ANGELES RAMS: The Los Angeles Rams are a professional football team based in Los Angeles, California, and compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the NFC West division. Originally founded in 1936 in Cleveland, the franchise became the first NFL team to relocate to the West Coast when it moved to Los Angeles in 1946. Over the decades, the Rams have shifted between cities—first to St. Louis in 1995, where they won a Super Bowl in 1999 as “The Greatest Show on Turf,” and back to Los Angeles in 2016. They now play their home games at SoFi Stadium, a cutting-edge venue they share with the Chargers in Inglewood.

The Rams have a rich history marked by iconic players such as Eric Dickerson, Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, and Aaron Donald, as well as innovative coaching under Sean McVay, who became the youngest head coach in modern NFL history when he was hired in 2017. Under McVay, the Rams made two Super Bowl appearances, winning Super Bowl LVI in 2022, and have remained a competitive force in the NFC.

In 2025, the team is focused on blending veteran leadership with a wave of young talent, including rising stars like Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams. With quarterback Matthew Stafford still leading the offense and McVay at the helm, the Rams are aiming for another deep postseason run while continuing to rebuild depth and develop their next generation of playmakers.
