ABOUT: Lola Young is a British singer-songwriter celebrated for her raw, honest lyricism and powerful, soulful voice. A graduate of the BRIT School, she began releasing music in her late teens, quickly establishing herself as one of the UK’s most compelling new artists. Her early EPs showcased her ability to combine intimate storytelling with sharp wit, and her songwriting often tackles themes of love, identity, and emotional vulnerability.

She gained significant recognition with her debut album Intro and went on to release her sophomore project This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway in 2024. That record featured standout singles such as “Wish You Were Dead,” “Conceited,” “Big Brown Eyes,” and the chart-topping, platinum-certified track “Messy.” The latter became a cultural breakthrough, holding the top spot on the UK Singles Chart and racking up global streams, cementing her status as a rising star.

Beyond her recorded work, Lola Young has built a reputation as a captivating live performer, known for her raw energy and connection with audiences. She was named the 2025 Ivor Novello Rising Star, further underscoring her growing influence as both a songwriter and performer. With her blend of alt-pop, R&B, and soul influences, Lola Young continues to position herself as one of the most distinctive new voices in contemporary music.
