ABOUT: Like Moths to Flames is an American metalcore band known for their aggressive sound, emotional intensity, and unflinching honesty in their lyrics. Formed in Columbus, Ohio in 2010, the band quickly made a name for themselves with a style that blends crushing breakdowns, soaring choruses, and raw, confessional themes.
Led by frontman Chris Roetter, Like Moths to Flames released their debut album When We Don’t Exist in 2011, followed by a steady stream of fan-favorite records including An Eye for an Eye (2013), The Dying Things We Live For (2015), and No Eternity in Gold (2020). Their music often explores topics like self-doubt, betrayal, trauma, and inner conflict — delivered with the intensity to match.
What sets LMTF apart is their ability to evolve while staying heavy. They’ve consistently refined their sound without losing their core identity, gaining respect in both underground and mainstream metal scenes. Their live shows are notoriously high-energy, built on crowd interaction, tight musicianship, and emotionally charged performances.
