TOUR: Emmy-winning comedian John Mulaney is hitting the road again with his highly anticipated “Mister Whatever” 2025 Tour, launching this fall. Mulaney’s return to the stage follows the success of his Netflix variety special John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in L.A., which showcased his ability to mix sharp stand-up with experimental live formats. The “Mister Whatever Tour” promises a more personal return to form, with the kind of polished, self-deprecating humor and cultural commentary that has made him one of the most beloved comics of his generation.
TICKETS: Tickets for John Mulaney 2025 shows are available now through EventsChaser, with NO hidden service fees. General-admission tickets start as low as $50 in smaller markets like Canandaigua, NY; typical entry-level prices fall between $90 and $130 in cities such as Toronto, Philadelphia, and Durham; and in major venues like Boston and Saratoga, they can climb as high as $180 to $238. For fans seeking extra flair, the VIP package is available at about $349, and includes a premium reserved seat along with exclusive tour merchandise like a John Mulaney sweatshirt, embroidered hat, tote bag, poster, laminate, and lanyard.
ABOUT: John Mulaney is an American comedian, writer, and actor best known for his sharp observational humor, witty storytelling, and distinctive stage presence. Born in Chicago in 1982, he started his career in comedy writing before breaking into stand-up. His big break came as a writer on Saturday Night Live, where he co-created memorable sketches, including Bill Hader’s beloved “Stefon” character. Mulaney’s knack for blending absurdity with everyday observations quickly made him one of the most recognizable comedic voices of his generation.
As a stand-up, he’s released several acclaimed specials, including New in Town (2012), The Comeback Kid (2015), and Kid Gorgeous at Radio City (2018), the latter of which earned him an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. His comedy often draws from his Catholic upbringing, childhood experiences, and quirks of modern life, balancing self-deprecation with clever cultural commentary.
Beyond stand-up, Mulaney has had success across television and film. He co-created and starred in the short-lived but cult-favorite sitcom Mulaney, voiced Andrew Glouberman on the animated hit Big Mouth, and played the voice of Peter Porker/Spider-Ham in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Despite personal challenges that he has spoken about openly, Mulaney has remained a widely admired figure in comedy, respected for his honesty, craftsmanship, and ability to connect with audiences through both humor and vulnerability.
