Rock guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai are hitting the road together in 2026 with their “Surfing With The Hydra” North American Tour, bringing their collaborative SATCHVAI Band to stages across the U.S. and Canada in spring. This tour marks the first full United States run for the duo’s new band, following a successful European leg in 2025, and promises to showcase both fresh material and classics from their shared catalog.

The upcoming tour kicks off on April 1, 2026 in Seattle at the Paramount Theatre and continues through April and May with dozens of dates, including stops in Portland, Oakland, Las Vegas, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York City and more before wrapping May 30 in Vienna, Virginia at Wolf Trap. Joining them as special guests for the entire tour is acclaimed instrumental prog-metal trio Animals As Leaders, known for their complex compositions and virtuosic playing.
