Rock band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is hitting the road again for their 2025–26 tour, bringing their adventurous reinterpretations of the Grateful Dead catalog to stages across the U.S. Fans can expect spirited improvisation, deep jams, and musical surprises at each show.
The fall 2025 leg kicks off October 3 in Milwaukee at the Riverside Theater, then moves October 4 to Chicago at The Salt Shed Outdoors, followed October 5 in St. Paul at the Palace Theatre. The band will later continue to the West Coast, landing October 23 at Channel 24 in Sacramento, October 24 at the Fox Theater in Oakland, and October 25 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. In November 2025 they’ll visit Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania at Penn’s Peak on November 13, then Philadelphia at The Met on November 14, and Washington, D.C. at The Anthem on November 15.
The tour picks back up in January 2026 with three nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on January 16, 17, and 18. In February 2026, they’ll visit Durham, North Carolina at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) on February 12, then Columbia, South Carolina at Township Auditorium on February 13, and Atlanta at The Eastern on February 14.
Later in spring the tour moves south and west: April 30 finds them at House of Blues Dallas, May 1 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, and May 2 at the Fillmore in New Orleans. In May and June of 2026 they’ll make stops up the East Coast, with a show May 21 in Richmond (Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront), May 22 at The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, May 23 at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, and later June 12 in Manteo, North Carolina (Roanoke Island Festival Park), June 18 in Hyannis, Massachusetts (Cape Cod Melody Tent), and June 19 in Portland, Maine (Thompson’s Point).
