Internationally acclaimed British comedian, writer and television host Jimmy Carr is bringing his famously sharp wit and outrageous sense of humor back to American stages in 2027 with the Killing Jokes Tour. The newly announced 39-date U.S. headline run will feature an entirely new stand-up show packed with Carr’s signature rapid-fire one-liners, dark humor and fearless observations about life’s most controversial and absurd subjects. Known for his distinctive laugh, quick-witted audience interactions and unapologetic comedic style, Carr has performed in more than 50 countries and released 13 comedy specials. His previous tour, Terribly Funny, sold more than 1.2 million tickets worldwide, cementing his reputation as one of the most successful international touring comedians.

The Killing Jokes Tour kicks off June 17, 2027, at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, before traveling through Boston, Mashantucket, Scranton, Newark, New York City, Atlantic City and Portsmouth, with the opening stretch concluding June 27 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The tour resumes September 16 at The Chicago Theatre before visiting cities including Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis, Louisville, Memphis and Tulsa. October performances take Carr through Florida, the Carolinas, Texas, Knoxville, Nashville and Atlanta before the final leg heads west in November. Highlights include San Francisco’s The Masonic, Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Sacramento Memorial Auditorium and The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The tour concludes with three consecutive performances at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on November 11, 12 and 13.

Audiences can expect an evening of provocative comedy, lightning-fast punchlines and Carr’s unmistakable ability to find humor in subjects most performers would avoid. The entirely new Killing Jokes show explores the boundaries of comedy through outrageous observations and unapologetically dark material, continuing the approach that has made Carr a favorite among stand-up audiences worldwide. No tour-wide special guest or opening act has been announced with the initial itinerary. Presented by Chambers Touring, the upcoming run promises another unforgettable showcase of Carr’s distinctive comedic style, offering fans a night of bold jokes, spontaneous laughter and the kind of fearless humor that has defined his international career.
