TOUR: Shock-metal legends GWAR are returning to the road in 2026 with their newly announced “Gor Gor Strikes Back” Tour, bringing their over-the-top live spectacle to stages across the United States. The tour celebrates the return of Gor Gor, the band’s infamous dinosaur character, and continues GWAR’s long tradition of combining extreme metal with theatrical performances, satire, and full-scale chaos. The run follows a strong stretch of recent touring and new music that has kept the band firmly at the center of metal’s most outrageous live experiences.
The upcoming tour will hit cities throughout the U.S., giving fans plenty of chances to witness GWAR’s blood-soaked stage show, complete with elaborate costumes, props, and their unmistakable brand of irreverent humor. Known for never repeating the same show twice, GWAR’s performances balance brutal riffs with shock value and crowd participation that turns every night into a spectacle.
Joining GWAR on this tour is a stacked lineup of special guests Soulfly and King Parrot. Soulfly brings their heavy groove-driven metal and global influence to the bill, while Australian grindcore favorites King Parrot add relentless energy and intensity, making each stop a full-throttle night of extreme music from start to finish.
