British virtual band Gorillaz have announced “The Mountain” Tour, a major global concert tour supporting their ninth studio album The Mountain. The tour celebrates a new creative chapter for the group, which was founded by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, and follows the release of the album in early 2026. The project blends the band’s signature genre-mixing sound with global influences and collaborations, continuing Gorillaz’s tradition of combining music, animation and storytelling into a unique multimedia experience.
“The Mountain” Tour began with special performances in Los Angeles in February 2026 before expanding into arena shows across the United Kingdom and Ireland starting in March. Early dates included concerts in cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Belfast and Dublin, along with a major stadium performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. These shows marked the first live performances of the new material and introduced audiences to the album’s expansive themes and visual world.
Later in 2026, Gorillaz will bring “The Mountain” Tour to North America, where the band will perform across major U.S. and Canadian cities from September through October, including high-profile venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York and other large arenas. Many shows will feature special guests Little Simz and Deltron 3030, adding to the collaborative spirit that has long defined Gorillaz’s live performances. The tour promises an immersive concert experience combining animated visuals, guest appearances and a setlist blending new songs from The Mountain with fan-favorite classics.
