Event Details
Renowned psychotherapist, New York Times bestselling author and podcast host Esther Perel is taking her newest live experience on the road in 2027 with Strangers, Friends, and Lovers: A Night Out with Esther Perel Tour. The immersive show explores a modern paradox: people have more ways than ever to communicate, yet love, friendship, family and community can feel increasingly difficult to build and sustain. Perel invites audiences to examine isolation, belonging and the rituals that bring people together, asking what might happen when a room full of strangers becomes a place for genuine human connection.
The North American leg of the tour launches in April 2027, bringing Perel to major theaters across the United States and Canada. The tour will visit Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Toronto and New York before wrapping up in Boston in early May. The run gives audiences across the continent an opportunity to experience Perel’s thought-provoking approach to relationships and human connection in an intimate live setting.
Strangers, Friends, and Lovers builds on themes Perel has explored throughout her career, including intimacy, desire, friendship and the ways relationships shape individual and collective well-being. Perel is the author of Mating in Captivity and The State of Affairs and host of the podcast Where Should We Begin?, while her TED Talks have accumulated more than 50 million views.
