ABOUT: Erykah Badu gained widespread recognition with her debut album, Baduizm, released in 1997. The album, which included hit singles such as “On & On,” “Next Lifetime,” and “Appletree,” was both a commercial and critical success, earning her multiple Grammy Awards.
