ABOUT: Elf – The Musical is a stage adaptation of the beloved 2003 holiday film Elf, featuring original songs by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin and a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin. It follows the story of Buddy, a human raised at the North Pole by Santa’s elves, who travels to New York City to find his real father — and bring holiday cheer to a cynical world.
Premiering on Broadway in 2010, the show quickly became a seasonal favorite thanks to its humor, heart, and high-energy musical numbers. Audiences of all ages connect with its message about family, belief, and the true spirit of Christmas.
With toe-tapping songs like “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” and “A Christmas Song,” colorful costumes, and a big dose of North Pole magic, Elf – The Musical has become a holiday tradition for theaters and families across the country and around the world.
