TOUR: Multi-platinum Irish singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy has announced a brief 2025 North American tour, titled “A Promised Return.” This intimate tour will feature stripped-back performances across major cities, emphasizing Kennedy’s powerful vocals and emotional lyrics.

The tour will kick off on October 7 at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver, and will conclude on October 28 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. Other stops on the tour will see Kennedy perform in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and Brooklyn.

ABOUT: Born on December 13, 1991, in Rathcoole, County Dublin, Ireland, Dermot Kennedy began playing guitar at age 10 and writing songs in his teens. He studied classical music at Maynooth University before fully pursuing a career in music. Kennedy gained initial attention through viral success on Spotify and YouTube, particularly with tracks like “After Rain.”

His breakout came in 2019 with the release of his debut album, Without Fear, which topped the charts in Ireland and the UK. The album featured hits like “Outnumbered,” “Power Over Me,” and “Giants,” showcasing his talent for emotionally charged lyrics and atmospheric production.
