The Clemson Tigers men’s basketball team was founded in 1911 and has built its identity on effort, defense, and steady improvement within one of the toughest conferences in the country. While Clemson has never won the ACC regular season title or the ACC Tournament, the program has earned respect by competing hard every year and producing memorable postseason runs. The Tigers reached the Elite Eight in 1980, have made multiple Sweet Sixteen appearances, and continue to stack NCAA Tournament bids as the program grows.
