ABOUT: Celtic Thunder is an Irish singing group and stage show known for blending traditional Celtic music with contemporary arrangements and theatrical storytelling. Created in 2007 by producer Sharon Browne and composer Phil Coulter, the group quickly gained international attention through their elaborate live productions, powerful harmonies, and a rotating lineup of standout vocalists. Each performance combines ensemble numbers with solo showcases, covering everything from classic Irish ballads and folk songs to pop standards and original material.

Over the years, Celtic Thunder has released numerous albums and DVDs, many of which have topped Billboard’s World Music charts. Their PBS specials have also played a key role in expanding their audience in North America, making them one of the most recognizable names in modern Celtic music. Signature songs like “Ireland’s Call,” “Heartland,” and “Caledonia” have become fan favorites, highlighting the group’s ability to evoke pride, nostalgia, and a sense of cultural connection.

Beyond their recordings, the group is celebrated for the theatrical scale of their concerts. With striking stage design, choreography, and dramatic storytelling woven into the music, Celtic Thunder offers a show experience that is both musical and visual. Their blend of tradition and innovation has made them ambassadors of Celtic culture worldwide, introducing new generations to Ireland’s musical heritage while expanding the genre’s reach far beyond its roots.
