The Savannah Bananas are taking their wildly entertaining brand of baseball to new heights in 2027 with the Banana Ball World Tour, their biggest and most ambitious international schedule yet. Featuring six teams competing in the Banana Ball Championship League, the tour will bring its unique combination of fast-paced baseball, choreographed dancing, trick plays, music and audience participation to 79 stadiums across 74 cities. Founded by Jesse Cole, the Savannah Bananas have transformed traditional baseball into a high-energy entertainment experience, attracting millions of fans with unconventional rules, spectacular performances and unforgettable moments. The 2027 season marks a historic milestone as Banana Ball expands beyond the United States for the first time, introducing its one-of-a-kind spectacle to audiences in Canada and Mexico.
The 2027 Banana Ball World Tour begins February 5 and 6 in Monterrey, Mexico, with the Savannah Bananas facing the Texas Tailgaters, followed by games in Tijuana on February 12 and 13. The U.S. portion launches February 25–27 at Auburn University in Alabama, featuring all six teams across three games. The extensive schedule includes appearances at major venues such as Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Target Field in Minneapolis, Oracle Park in San Francisco and Rogers Centre in Toronto. Additional highlights include a special four-day Banana Ball Open at Walt Disney World Resort in April and the innovative Banana Ball 360 event at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26, where games will alternate between two fields inside the football stadium. The tour also visits Winnipeg, Canada, in August before continuing through September, bringing the excitement of Banana Ball to baseball parks, football stadiums and other major venues throughout North America.
The 2027 lineup features the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns, each bringing its own distinctive personality and entertainment style to the field. Fans can expect an unforgettable combination of competitive baseball and theatrical showmanship, including dancing players, spectacular trick plays, hilarious celebrations and opportunities for spectators to become part of the action. Banana Ball’s unconventional rules include a two-hour game limit, no bunting, batters stealing first base and fans recording outs by catching foul balls. With an anticipated audience of approximately 4.3 million, historic international performances and innovative new stadium experiences, the Banana Ball World Tour promises to deliver another groundbreaking season of family-friendly sports entertainment in 2027.
