This fall, the tour launches with performances at the Smith Center in Las Vegas in mid-August 2025, followed by stops across the country — Norfolk, Pittsburgh, East Lansing, Schenectady, Minneapolis, and Memphis — before heading to Fort Worth, Houston, New Orleans, and Chicago through November. As the season progresses into 2026, audiences in West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Rochester, and notably San Antonio — where the production will make its local debut in late February to early March — can experience this vibrant tribute to Neil Diamond’s legacy.
Starring Nick Fradiani, the American Idol winner and former Broadway lead, as the young Neil Diamond, with Robert Westenberg portraying the older version, the touring cast also includes Hannah Jewel Kohn as Marcia Murphey and Lisa Reneé Pitts as the Doctor.

Rather than following a traditional linear narrative, the musical is framed through sessions between an older Neil Diamond and his therapist, exploring how his lyrics reflect the personal battles, triumphs, and complexities behind his public persona.
The production features a book by Anthony McCarten, known for biographical works like Bohemian Rhapsody and The Theory of Everything, and direction by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. The choreography is by Steven Hoggett, with scenic design by David Rockwell.
