TOUR: Two of comedy’s sharpest voices are joining forces — only this time, it’s personal. Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng have announced their joint tour, provocatively titled “Hasan Hates Ronny | Ronny Hates Hasan. Set to begin in October 2025 and run through December, the 19-city North American trek will take audiences on a rollicking, absurdly hilarious journey through a live “Debate to the Death.” Instead of peace and dialogue, the pair promise chaos, insults, and no restraint as they roast each other — and America — on topics ranging from presidents, immigration, and infrastructure to family values, dating, and even the impending race war.

The upcoming tour kicks off on October 3, 2025, at Seattle’s WAMU Theater, with notable stops including Hobby Center (Houston), Fox Theatre (Atlanta), DAR Constitution Hall (Washington, D.C.), Roy Thomson Hall (Toronto), Auditorium Theatre (Chicago), Bass Concert Hall (Austin), and Beacon Theatre (New York City). It wraps with a final show on December 26 in Vancouver, BC. This tour is not about bridging divides — it’s about burning them down for the sake of comedy. If you love smart, savage, and shockingly funny stand-up with no guardrails — this is your stage.

ABOUT: Ronny Chieng is a Malaysian-born comedian, actor, and writer known for his sharp wit, deadpan delivery, and incisive cultural commentary. Chieng gained early recognition performing on the international comedy circuit, but his breakout came in 2015 when he joined The Daily Show with Trevor Noah as a correspondent. His segments — especially those tackling racism, tech, and Asian-American identity — quickly went viral and helped cement his reputation as one of the smartest and most fearless voices in political comedy.

He’s also the creator and star of Ronny Chieng: International Student, a sitcom based on his time as a Malaysian student in Australia, and has appeared in major films including Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and M3GAN.

His Netflix specials, Asian Comedian Destroys America! and Speakeasy, earned critical acclaim for their brutal honesty and global perspective. Known for blending satire, stand-up, and social critique, Ronny Chieng uses comedy as a vehicle to punch up, call out hypocrisy, and challenge the status quo — with a scowl and a mic.
