Grammy, CMA and Americana Music Award-winning singer-songwriter Brandy Clark is heading back on the road in 2027 with the Take Flight World Tour, an extensive headline run launching a new chapter in her acclaimed career. The tour arrives alongside new music from Clark, including “American Roots,” released through Reprise Records and written with Michael Pollack and Griff Clawson. The song draws inspiration from Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” and continues Clark’s reputation for detailed storytelling, sharp songwriting and emotionally resonant performances.

The Take Flight World Tour begins January 22, 2027 at The Bellwether in Los Angeles before traveling through California and the Pacific Northwest with shows in Monterey, Felton, Berkeley, Petaluma, Ukiah, Eugene, Portland, Seattle and Spokane. The tour resumes in March with performances in Alexandria, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston, Hartford, Old Saybrook, Brownfield and Portsmouth before continuing through Asheville, Charleston, Atlanta, Newark, Wabash, West Bend and Chicago. The currently announced U.S. itinerary concludes with Texas performances in Cedar Park, Arlington and New Braunfels from April 30 through May 2, while additional international dates are expected to be announced.

Fans can expect intimate, songwriter-focused performances drawing from Clark’s celebrated catalog alongside her newest material. Her career includes songs such as “Dear Insecurity,” “Hold My Hand,” “Who You Thought I Was” and “Buried,” while her songwriting credits extend to hits recorded by artists including Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert. No dedicated special guest has been announced for the Take Flight World Tour at this time, with current tour and venue listings billing Brandy Clark as the featured performer. With additional international dates still to come, the Take Flight World Tour will carry Clark’s latest musical chapter through 2027.
