Legendary rock artist John Mellencamp has announced his “Dancing Words” Tour — The Greatest Hits for summer 2026, a 19-date U.S. amphitheater tour celebrating his enduring catalog of heartland rock classics and fan-favorite deep cuts. The trek marks one of the first times in many years that Mellencamp will focus an entire tour on performing his well-loved songs in a single night, including “Jack and Diane,” “Pink Houses,” “Small Town,” “Hurts So Good,” and other staples alongside tracks he hasn’t played live in years.
The “Dancing Words Tour” is scheduled to kick off on July 10, 2026, at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and continues through the summer with shows in cities across the United States, such as Tinley Park, Kansas City, Shakopee, Noblesville, Cincinnati, Holmdel, Wantagh, Bristow, Charlotte, Alpharetta, Tampa, Houston, Phoenix, Hollywood, and Mountain View before wrapping on August 12 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
